MeBoy is a Gameboy Colour emulator for mobile phones. It only works on phones with support for Java Micro Edition, specifically MIDP 2.0. The speed depends on the processor inside your phone, which may or may not be fast enough

Step by step tutorial on installing MeBoy:
1. Make sure you have Java installed on your computer, version 1.5 or later.
2. Download MeBoyBuilder.jar (file attached below). If you are presented with a choice, make sure you select “Save”/”Save to disk”, not “Open”/”Open with Java…”.
3. Internet Explorer users only: IE has a weird habit of renaming the file to a “.zip” file, resulting in a compressed folder containing “.class” files. If this happens, change the name to MeBoyBuilder.jar and you should be able to run it as a Java program.
4. Run MeBoyBuilder.jar by double-clicking.
5. Press the “Add ROM” and select a ROM file. Repeat for all games you want to add.
6. Press the “Finish” button. The file MeBoy.jar is created for you (in the same directory as MeBoyBuilder.jar).
7. Copy MeBoy.jar to your phone.

    It says when i try to put a rom in the meboy it dosent work, it says no rom file, the files are .gba files how do i fix this?

    Well You can’t Use GBA roms .. Sorry. the Phone can’t run it..
    u need 32 MB Ram on a phone.. LOL

    anybody here knows where the sav file is saved? i’ve tried using farmanager to browse my phones fs but could not locate it… appreciate the help… cheers… ^_^

    Hey i found a way to solve my gameboy emulator problems..

    I can run pokemon yellow

    download and extract with winrar program Pokemon Yellow
    Pokemon Crystal
    Pokemon Blue

    start game then go on to options then change frame rate from 3 too 33 then save it runs alot faster for me hope it helps

    I have it on my W350i with Pokemon Crystal, the only way the game can run properly is if you start the game on, select settings and turn FRAMERATE on, when it does show the framerate, the works wonders.

    I have meboy on my phone.I play pokemon gold on my sonyericsson w880i. The game saves but does not resume all the time. It always wants me to start a new game.

    This totaly works, i have a sony ericsson k550i and it works perfectly, its like a real gameboy…… if u do it just like the instructions say ul be fine, although it definately does not take gameboy advance files (GBA) so thats the downfall, its realy not rocket science……

    to continue your saved game in this emulator, you just need to exit the gameboy correctly. in my case, i first need to press options, then exit emulator. that may solve the problem in saving your games.

    Hey, I’m thinking about Nokia X3-02 Touch & Type phone. A phone with a small touch-screen and numpad.

    It works at my samsung wave 525 but it is a little bit slow and the virtual keypad is hard to use and there is no soung at the game
